idealworks Helps Accelerate Zalando’s Intralogistics

The e-commerce giant Zalando is strengthening robotics in its logistics centers through the use of autononomous mobile robots — idealworks’ iw.hub.

To further improve logistics workflows, Zalando started to implement autonomous mobile robots in its logistics warehouses. The AMRs provided by the BMW Group’s subsidiary support Zalando’s employees in Mönchengladbach with autonomous transports. On a 50-meter-long route, the iw.hubs can reach speeds of up to 8 kmph, receiving their transport requests from AnyFleet, idealworks’ fleet management software, which is connected with Zalando’s IT system.
